Just an hour back I visited the President hotel...another five star hotel, a km away from the Taj and the Trident Hotel... My doctor cousin from Kolkata, Dr Prasenjit Chatterjee had arrived here in Mumbai for a conference and we had to whisk him away :) The roads were deserted and the only vans were those of TIMES NOW, NDTV, CNBC and ambulances.
My cousin is still visibly shaken up and his wife is repeatedly calling up to ensure his safety (Its his internet available Laptop that I have pinched :) )
Two choppers were circulating overhead and an additional commando force where rope dropped in... Almost 48 hours... India has really been held to ransom this time.... As the secretary to the Internal security Minister of India Kumavat held a press conference, some reporter asked him that why was there not an official count on the number of terrorists, he rightly replied that the main focus was on neutralizing and meeting their attack with hard resistance, an official count on the bodies and arrested would be done later.... You cant count when you are faced by gunfire....fair enough !!!!
Hold on India....we will get through....but this is far from over and we have not seen the last of it yet ......
